NHS Dispensers
Hurst Green Plastics has scored a first success with our TwinBin system in the National Health System in the UK at North Tees Hospital.
Finding the TwinBin system on an internet, we had the opportunity to fully refurbish the stores area on one ward at the North Tees University Hospital. Around 500 different items that are commonly used on a urology ward were removed from open bins into our TwinBins.
Staff found that the TwinBins saved space in the stores area, money by reducing stock and time by all by keeping the area organised and made it much easier to top up products without running out of stock.
Not all products were suitable to fit in a TwinBin system. We are able to custom design any type of dispenser to suit the actual product. This items included catheters, glove dispensers, pulp and disposable products for example.
An independent report estimated the cost saving over the first year on product reduction was at least £13,600!

Other Customised Fabrications
Catheter Dispensers - by customising the dispensers for each individual catheter design, we were able to offer an easy to manage storage and dispensing system for a wide-range of catheters used on the ward. The first in - first out design ensures all product is used within it's use by date and re-order and re-stocking is simplified. No need to check each box and count each catheter so time is greatly saved!
