Hurst Green Plastics’ sponsored football club, Hurst Green FC, were crowned champions of Lancashire this week with a superb win in the cup final!

Out of 128 teams throughout Lancashire, Hurst Green successfully passed through 6 rounds into the final against Lancaster-based Highgrove.
Oli Johnson and Paul Chippendale will forever be written into Hurst Green folklore as they were the lucky two players that scored the goals that sent Hurst Green on their way to a 2-0 defeat of their Lancaster opponents.
The side was cheered on by a huge travelling contingent from the village as ex-players, managers, officials and supporters were there to support the team as they brushed aside a strong Highgrove outfit.
It is the first time Hurst Green FC have won the tournament, which has been established for over 110 years!
Congratulations lads, from all at Hurst Green Plastics Ltd!
