Hurst Green Plastics are proud members of the UK’s Lean Factory Group.

The group is a consortium of seven of the most innovative suppliers to the manufacturing sector. They comprise ADM Automation, Bosch Power Tools, Bosch Rexroth, K.Hartwall, Spitfire Consultancy, Sick UK and now, Hurst Green Plastics Ltd. Between these organisations, we offer all of the products and services needed to implement efficient lean manufacturing systems.

The events are free to attend and run several times a year all over the UK & Ireland.

The Lean Factory Group invites you to a free seminar to learn the theory of lean manufacturing techniques and to examine the operation of a lean manufacturing cell.
A consortium of eight of the most innovative suppliers to the manufacturing sector has formed The Lean Factory Group.

They comprise iCart, Bosch Power Tools, Bosch Rexroth, K Hartwall, Orgatex, SICK UK, Hurst Green Plastics and Spitfire Consultancy.

  • The iCart has recently been developed to meet modern-day production requirements. It is a low-cost user-friendly automated materials delivery system suited to distributing products to/from a variety of locations including warehouse applications.

Bosch Production Tools address the final principle within lean manufacturing. Our cordless and electric tools are ever present in modern day manufacturing due to our high quality, reliability and low energy focus.

Bosch Rexroth’s Manual Production System addresses the 3 lean principles: Material Transfer, Material Supply, and Ergonomic Workstations.

The K. Hartwall Lean Dolly & Adaptor Pallet unit improves workflow, reduces handling costs, enables stock level reduction, improves ergonomics and optimises vehicle fill.

ORGATEX provides innovative and effective Lean Visual Management Tools and Solutions to manufacturing and service organisations applying Lean principles and processes.
SICK factory automation and identification sensors support the lean manufacturing process with correct part selection using pick to light sensors, product and work identification by barcode readers and quality checking using vision sensors.
