After 34 years serving as Managing Director and Co-Director, Stephen Clarke and Martine Dunand-Clarke, are moving into Chairperson positions. Two long-serving employees, Tommy Sharples and Julie Monaco have been promoted to Managing Director and General Manager respectively.
Tommy, having grown through the ranks from Customer Service in 2005, through to Business Development Manager and now Managing Director has said;
“I’m thrilled to be offered this position. We have some fantastic new products to be launched and we are reaching new markets and regions around the world. Stephen has built a fantastic team to support me, and I’m really excited about beginning the next phase of my career with Hurst Green Plastics.”
Having worked within Hurst Green Plastics for several years as Customer Account Manager, Julie Monaco is delighted to be appointed role of General Manager. Julie will be responsible for overseeing the Marketing and Sales functions, as well as the Company’s day-to-day business operations. Working closely with customers, suppliers and accounts, Julie is looking forward to her new position.
We have also recently seen the exit of Miss Sophia Dunand-Clarke, who has left to study Linguistics at Bangor University, but this has been followed by the arrival of three new staff members, Mr Pat Loftus, Mr Tom Crowther and Miss Louise Cross.
Mr Pat Loftus has joined the company as Sales Engineer, and will be chiefly involved with the Lean Factory presentations and site visits. With a wealth of experience in mechanical engineering and construction, Pat will be a very useful addition to the team!
Mr Tom Crowther will be taking on the Marketing Administrator role and amongst other things; he will be assisting with photography, online media and marketing within the company.
Miss Louise Cross has taken on the Sales Administrator role and she will be working alongside customers and suppliers whilst also supporting the accounts department.
An exciting new era awaits Hurst Green Plastics, and we all look forward to working with you!
