Hurst Green Plastics have proudly sponsored Max Dunand whilst he’s represented England Under 20s in Columbia in Roller Hockey – and he’s taken a Tommy TwinBin with him for support!
England were one of 17 Countries who competed in the competition in Cartegena, Columbia from Saturday 5th October to Saturday 12th October 2013.
The different teams were separated into 4 different groups:
Group A Group D
• South Africa
• Costa Rica
The teams long journey to Columbia started at Heathrow on Friday 4th October at 7:30am, and they flew to Bogota via Frankfurt and then on to Cartgena.

When they finally made it our Tommy Twinbin couldn’t wait to show off that he was allowed in the VIP entrance to the competition

Max then played in the fourth game of the competition against Macau. The final score was 14-0 to England with Max being the top scorer, scoring 5 goals in total!

The 5th game of the competition was against Israel and this was a particularly even match, but England just took the lead with a 2-1 win.
The final game for Max and England was against South Africa and he scored one of the eight goals against the opposition leaving the final score to 8-2 to England.
The team finished 11th in the competition and everyone at Hurst Green Plastics congratulate them all on their fantastic performance with a special congratulations to Max on being England’s third highest goal scorer.
