2016 has been a year of trying new things for Hurst Green Plastics.
We have…
- exhibited our products in a new country at our first USA Exhibition.
- brought out a new product – The SpinFlag stock indicator.
- welcomed a new member of staff Kerri Riding.
- launched our new website.
- sold to new countries including Iceland, Norway and Uruguay.
Air Shows and Exhibitions of 2016
Singapore Airshow – 16th February – 21st February 2016
Our Managing Director Tommy Sharples kicked off our year of exhibiting by heading to Singapore. He attended the 5th biannual Singapore Airshow – the largest aerospace and defence event in Asia. Working with United Aviation Singapore, we where able to showcase our products to over 1000 exhibiting companies and 100,000 visitors.
It was a very successful Airshow for us and we have noted a growing demand for the product range in the region.
MRO Americas – Dallas Texas -1st April – 7th April 2016
Next up on our exhibition tour was the MRO Americas. Our first USA exhibition! Louise and Tommy headed stateside to show off our products to perspective customers as well as taking to chance for a meet and greet with our existing clients.
According to the team “‘The trip was a fantastic opportunity to meet existing customers (some for the first time!) but also to create new business contacts in a part of the world that is still pretty unexplored for our growing company”
The Farnborough Airshow – 11th July – 17th July
Hurst Green Plastics were delighted to exhibit for the 10th Time at the Farnborough Airhow. We showcased our TwinBin System including RFID and our brand new patent protected Cloud based Storage Solutions.
There was some excitement on the first day as heavy rain caused the event to close early for fear of flooding. It was a very dramatic afternoon as the whole of Hall 1 was plunged into sudden darkness after safety officers where forced to turn off all the electricity.
Luckily the rain subsided for the rest of the week and the Team were able to have a very successful show.
IMHX 2016 – Birmingham NEC 13th September – 16th September.
Our last exhibition of the year was at the IMHX in Birmingham at one of largest events we have ever been to.
The event spanned across four hall of the NEC meaning the TwinBin Team had plenty to explore and learn from the other leading companies in the material handling field.
As well as meeting many potentail new customers from different industries across the world.
New Product – The SpinFlag Stock Indicator
We have made stock control even easier and cheaper with the launch of our new product the SpinFlag. Our smallest stock control system the SpinFlag is easy to attach to your existing open bin system and instantly improve your inventory management making stock checking a lot easier and faster.
NEW STAFF MEMBER KERRI RIDING
This year we welcomed our newest staff member Kerri Riding. She took over from Sophia Dunand-Clarke as Customer Service Operator. Sophia was made the Marketing manger.
Kerri has quickly become a integral part of the TwinBin team and we are very happy to welcome her on board.
LAUNCH OF OUR NEW WEBSITE
This year we were very pleased to launch our brand new website. A big thank you to Red-Fern Media for making it a reality. We hope you enjoy our new website 🙂
We sold to over 25% of the World
From our tiny home county of Lancashire, England we were very pleased to add to our list of countries we have sold to now reaching over 25% of the entire world!
It’s safe to say we were quite pleased with ourselves for that achievement.
2017
After a very successful year we are looking forward to 2017. We already have several exhibitions lined up including the Paris Airshow and the Avalon Airshow. Finally we will be launching a brand new product and solution. Stay tuned this one is a game changer!
